Summary: Overall, our stay was as wonderful as expected. However, I have to state that I was disappointed in 2 things related to the room itself (1416). While the room overall was nice, the couch near the windows showed extreme wear and tear with torn threading along the seams. Quite disappointing for a purported 5 star and expensive hotel. As I was staying with my wife, I expected there to be 2 robes for us to lounge. However there was only 1 hung from the bathroom door hook. These may be small details, but that is what I paid a premium price for my wife's staycation birthday present. Examining our appetizers and drinks in the lobby, we were not disappointed and our waiter (Tanner) was top shelf. Examining the breakfast at Don Alfonso, the quality and variety of dishes was excellent as was the service by our waiter (Glen).
